    Like Andy said, it might just be because you haven't opened the door yet. Try turning the Expedition off and after opening the door, try using the garage door opener. Then, if the opener isn't working properly, it shouldn't open the garage doors.

    Your cupholders were full of water? How long had it been sitting out in the salty and humid air? You might have mold on the interior depending on how long that water was in there and if water went elsewhere.

    Was it physically hard to move the shifter down the column to D? Or was it an issue of being able to shift it fine, but the Expedition wouldn't become unparked?

    Yeah but 2000 technology is very different from 2018 technology. Plus, there is also the turbochargers to factor in, and the fact that there is better gas mileage tech that didn't exist so long ago. Still, I prefer my V8. :)

    You all make me jealous. I've got a 2013 EL 4WD and using the calculator method, I got around 12. Then again, I've got a lead foot, it's almost always in 4WD, and I drive it on cheaper 87 octane gas.

    There are ways to clean out your catalytic converters, you can find them on Youtube or google. You can also buy second-hand cats on ebay, craigslist, etc. You can also fit aftermarket catalytic converters onto the truck, you don't have to stick to Ford's. It could also be the fuel injectors...

    Do you have the music balance close to the front seat? I don't know about the newer ones, but in my 2013 I can adjust where in the vehicle I can hear the music and where the sound is most heard.
