    Never again

    I've got 200k on the truck so I added a quart of Lucas to the oil on the last change. Big mistake! The damn thing started knocking about a week ago until it warmed up. Changed the oil this morning to Castrol 5/30 full synthetic. No knocking.

    9.75 Limited Slip Differential rebuild

    Does anyone know if I can add more clutches and/or shims to increase the bias or preload in a 1999 9.75 Limited Slip Diff? I do not want the expense of lockers but want to improve off road capabilty. Hope I found the right forum this time.
