Agree on the size. The 200 series is doable but the extra room in the navigator was really nice so the Sienna made sense for its replacement. It must have been tough having the 80, then your 100 series then to go to the Ford platform. If we had more parking room I fear I’d be looking for a 40...
We would have bought a second 200 series if not for the size, so we got a sienna to replace the navigator. We could make the 200 work for a daily but it would be tight on those beach trips. The 30 mpg in the sienna is also nice.
Here are a couple from a trip we took this summer. We’ll own this thing until we die and our kids will have to fight over who gets it, this thing is on a whole other level of build quality than the Navigator… it’s like a paper cup versus a bank vault.
Does the Yukon run the GM variant of the 10R80 trans that the expedition has? I’m fairly sure that trans was a joint venture. At least you get a V8, I feel like the never ending quest for better MPG is ruining ICE.
Honestly, I believe that’s exactly what caused my issue. It’s another example of Ford techs not doing service correctly on my vehicle. It’s just gone on for so long for me that I just didn’t feel comfortable risking another break down with my kids with me. Why they made these transmissions so...
We considered one but since we have recently built out a Land Cruiser as a play vehicle we figured we should get something a little more tame. The Sienna is getting 30+mpg which is nice.
Latest update:
I’m finally free of the albatross. Last step is getting the remainder of the extended warranty and ESP refunded.
We were able to track down a 2023 Sienna Platinum AWD. Yeah, it’s a minivan but it’s also a Toyota… our second Toyota and based on our ownership of our Land...
Reading through this thread I’m wondering if not purging the cooking system could have caused my transmission temperature spike. Does anyone know if the transmission has its own completely separate cooler or does it share with the radiator?
Oh man… there’s just nothing to say other than I can relate.
Nobody will take care of your stuff like you will but they could make a half as* attempt at least.
1/23/23 update:
Picked up from dealership today, customer service was non existent. No eye contact, too busy walking to someone else to tell me anything, shows me the window where to get my key and that was that.
Open door to vehicle to find mud, grease, and idk what on the floor, rocker...
Do report back on what they find. I am locked into dealerships because of extended warranty, which I’m glad I have because it’s more than paid for itself but all the Ford and Lincoln techs are terrible, in my experience.
Bro, I’m in the same boat. 2018 Navigator reserve with tow package 67k miles.

Have you had any service done on this vehicle recently? Are you having a Ford dealership service...
Update 1/18/2023
Heard from ford dealer today. They can not find anything wrong. Days of driving and reviewing ECU data leaves them to believe it was overfilled at the dealership who has been doing my service. The same one who had performed warranty repairs, oil change and a 65k miler...
Every day that goes by I’m leaning more and more to this realization.
It’s unacceptable and we have zero recourse m. It’s literally a ‘bend over and take it” scenario.
Update 1/13
Vehicle arrived to local dealership one day late. I called and spoke with service manager and told him the story of what the car was doing just before it starting puking fluid and brought him up to speed on the other issues the vehicle exhibited during all 4x4 modes.
He stated...
Update 1/10
It appears my Navigator has been picked up by transport and is in the move. The ability to track via the Lincoln app is really handy since my Lincoln concierge contact has stopped returning my calls… I’ve called twice and left voicemails asking for updates on buy back, rental car...
Bro, this just made me get my tin foil hat out lol I’ve had so many issues with my Poopy’gator that if this were found out to be true I wouldn’t be surprised.
Update 1/9
Got a call from Lincoln Concierge from the individual that’s been helping me. Her constant phone contact and updates has been so greatly appreciated throughout this process.
Vehicle should be picked up today and transferred to the local Ford dealership. This particular dealerships...
I think Covid plays a role, but not the virus itself… instead, the response to it. To to be completely honest, Covid has become the excuse to hide the decades of poor decisions made by leadership exporting manufacturing overseas and letting labor unions make demands that have pushed domestic...
