I don't judge people....people judge me. I was only speaking from experience. I remember my first body lift. I kept that empty box for 7 years. My wife walked in on me in the bathroom one time and I had a Playboy in my hands....with the installation instructions inside the magazine...

I've NEVER had an issue with steering whatsoever. Not sure what the exact issues they had were.

The long tube headers bolted right up. PaceSetter LongTube Headers with gaskets and O2 sensor wire extensions were only $449. On their website, they only have headers listed for the 97-03 F-150 4wd & 2wd. No mention of fitting 98-02 Expedions. Knowing the similarities in chassis, motor...

Wheel Hub adapters I bought off eBay about 8 years ago. No clue from who. Sorry. As far as my lift, I covered that in a previous comment. I'm not exactly but it was probably 3 weeks ago-ish. The trailer hitch solution is in a previous comment as well.

I have 1" billet aluminum wheel adapters going from 5x135 to dodge 5x5.5. After that, I'm now running my 37's on the standard Fuel Throttle 20x12 wheels. No extra backspacing was needed. And I just finished adding Long Tube headers to it this morning. Holy $h!t am I impressed with the...

Body(firewall) to engine (pass side) Frame to radiator support (pass side) Frame to body (pass side) Those are the "big 3" as they call them. The factory ones are junk.

Need to find roof rack brackets Thule or Yakima

I have a steel roof basket on my truck. It is sitting nicely on the stock luggage cross bars, which are shaped like the wing of an airplane. The basket I have is made of round tube. What I used to attach the basket to the crossbars, are CB Antenna brackets I found at a truck stop. I've...

Does anyone know of any Expedition ralleys, get-togethers, trail rides, etc ? Those Barbie lovin' Jeep people do it. Why can't we ? We are bigger than they are !! LoL

    Lets bring it back

I wasn't a member when it was previously active, so I don't know how it was ran. But, if it were to be resurrected, I believe that an Expedition should NOT be allowed to be nominated by it's owner. They should only be allowed to be nominated by other members. The feeling that one of your...

The hitch : On each side of the hitch where it bolts to the frame rail, there are 2 "flanges", 1 on each side, with 2 holes drilled in each. These are simply parts of the hitch that they cut and "folded" the metal over, so as the hitch gets raised up under the truck, the "flanges" hit the...

I have really enjoyed figuring out what I needed to do to lift my truck when so many "professionals" said it couldn't be done without spending $3500+, because my truck came stock with the air ride suspension. I did it cost effectively and my own labor. It's very satisfying to drive around this...

These are what's on my truck now :: Moog cc860s Here is the link to Moog's list of available coil springs in case anyone else needs it. http://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/universal_coil_springs.asp

The coil overs, I can give you the measurements of about 7 hours from now. If there is a model number on them, I will give you that as well. As far as the Moog rear springs, I can look them up. I will notice the model number when I see it, but don't recall off the top of my head.

On my bumpers, I chose the bedliner route. And I'm glad I did. Rock chips, scrapes, etc are easy to touch up.

I don't recommend powder coating the chrome bumpers. I did it and it started flaking off after about 2 years....or the 1st really good rock chip.

I plan to regear, but not until I'm finished with some performance upgrades. I knew that adding all this weight would take its toll on performance. But I wanted to build something I could take ANYWHERE, and something you don't see everyday. I flew to Tampa 10 years ago to buy this truck...

I went with 37x12.5x20 Toyo Open Country RT's on 20x12 Fuel Throttle wheels. Wheels are a personal preference based on looks. The tires, are amazing. I can't believe how quiet they are....even with the windows down. The full set of 5 tires & wheels cost about $3600.

My truck came with the stock air ride shitspension, which I enjoyed removing. The 1st thing I did was install a 3" body lift. I also raised the bumpers and bought a thick rubber pickup truck bed liner and cut pieces out of it and attached them to the inner fender wells to hide the gap created...
