i want to listen to my ipod via radio

You might check in the center console for the AUX input jack. If you don’t want to connect your iPod using a wired connection, you can buy a Bluetooth device that you can plug into the AUX jack and then connect to it from your iPod using Bluetooth wireless connection. It does have to be charged...

Left rear speaking makes a knocking noise

I think the only speaker that is further back than the rear door speakers is the subwoofer (assuming your model has one). There are some air vents in the very back by the lift door, but there are not speakers there. Just a motor for the lift door and a secondary a/c on the passenger side. I...

Connecting after market radio to factory backup camera

I upgraded the factory radio with navigation on my 2010 Expy to an after market radio a couple of years ago but could not find anything that would let me connect to the factory backup camera. I recently found the Sync 1 Radio Camera Interface offered by Infotainment.com. It works great. I...

    1st Gen.. Hiding a 4 channel amp

Has anyone bypassed the factory amp?

I have a 2010 Expy that had navigation and subwoofer. There IS an amplifier for the door speakers that sits below the radio, behind the A/C controls. It has been a year since I put in an aftermarket radio, but I'm pretty sure that I had to tap into the wires coming out of the amplifier in order...

    Alternative to replacing the APIM

You can retain use of the steering wheel controls with an aftermarket stereo, but you have to buy and install an extra device. Look for steering control adaptor. You can get them through Crutchfield. I don’t know of any way to retain use of the rear controls, headphone jacks, or the AUX input...

    Driver side power seat failure.

I had a similar problem with my 2010 Expedition. I pulled fuses #2 and #12 from the interior fuse box. Both fuses were fine and I put them back AND my seats worked again! Maybe something reset itself in the process. You might try this!
