Lug nut snapped on the stud! Any ideas?

Lug nut snapped on the stud! Any ideas?
Havent caught a break with this damn truck when it’s come to wheels. Half the lug nuts spun with that stupid cap when I attempted to put my lift on. Got it on, and bought two (4) packs of replacement lugs because that’s all they ad in stock at the time. No biggie, only like 6 were mangled... -

P71 Alternator swap on a 3rd gen?
Yeah, but those are no names, typically never last, common to burst into flames, and those ratings are typically “up to” 300a at some ridiculous 5-6k RPM range, less than stock at idle.- briandye

Can you remove the black plastic on the rear bumper?
Tire shine makes the faded plastic really shine in its not-very-Black anymore glory. I pulled it up, and repainted it black with Krylon Fusion. Looks perfect and brand new. -

Rear wheels off center?
I have the 3/2 lift, 35" Nitto's on factory 20's. The front to my eye looks almost perfectly centered in the wheel well, but the back sits a stupid amount forward. It drives me nuts. Just priced them out from Bora, damn! $235 for four 1.25” spacers. Not that it’s unreasonable, just used to the sh*tty eBay/Amazon spacer prices since I’ve never “seriously” shopped around for them. Well, gonna add it to my “Parts I want that are a couple hundred bucks or more” list.- briandye

How do I remove my front bumper cover? ‘08
I’m out here stumped. Top engine bay area plastic removed Headlights removed 4 torx screws from the top of the grill removed 2 9/32nd screws from the wheel well area removed Still on there. Seems like it wants to come off.- briandye

2 things.... 1. Any pics of lofted third gens with aftermarket step bars? Mine had power boards from the factory, but were replaced with the ugly running boards sometime before I bought it. So one of the biggest pet peeves I have with it is that crappy plastic Ford emblem they switched to. "Lets make this iconic logo, the brand of our vehicle, painted plastic to save a few bucks!" Fuel filter on '09 EB?
If I had to guess, if 2010 went to the stupid "lifetime" / "non-replacable" filters that are just built into the pump, I bet it started sometime in 2009. Thats when you get some parts that will have fitment notes mentioning "On or before March 2009" etc. They probably sold you a filter that...- briandye

Can you go into a bit more detail? Im not super familiar with 4WD systems. I am in 2WD mode when this noise is happening, I haven't been in 4WD, or A4WD since before the new tires and lift. The noise seems to be intermittent, like typically after a long highway drive when I get back in town...- briandye

Oh no I gotcha, that’s another thing I got from other forum posts, basically just expirament and see what feels best to you. Nope, just myself and occasionally another 300(?) pound coworker lol A few days at 35, and the ride is night and day. Bump steer is probably not even half as bad as it was either. Win win. I feel like the tire/road noise has gone down a little bit but that’s probably just in my head.- briandye

Yeah the more I dig into some of those threads, the more 28 seems to be the most common. Ill give them a shot at 35 tomorrow, and see how they feel. I don't really have anywhere to go today, and I don't really feel like leaving the house anyways lol- briandye
