    Haha, when I bought my 2018 I went through the same thing. Truck was nice and warmed up before I knew about the start-up rattle. I had the cam phasers replaced around 36k miles and the rattle came back at ~77k.

    2018 Hands Free Liftgate not working

    Not missing much. It works about 40% of the time I try to use it. I have an '18 Max as well. You can try disabling and enabling it in dash options. If that doesn't work, have you checked your battery? Random things stop working once your battery doesn't hold a high enough charge.

    Had the same issue happen to us while we were driving to Kansas for Christmas. What's interesting is it only happened when it was super cold. Once we started our journey back to Arizona, and we were finally above freezing temps, we never went into limp mode again.

    Cam Phasers or Turbo Wastegate Rattle?

    I’ve learned to just deal with the WASTEGATE rattle. As long as the damn cam phaser rattle doesn’t come back (been about 40k miles since replacement) then I’m happy. I was so embarrassed starting my vehicle early in the morning when I had the issue. It was so loud, lol.
