    Sorry I can't help but I have a 97 that makes the same noise. Unfortunately it also jolts when shifting from park to drive or reverse. I'm hoping it's the u joint lol

    Thank you for the reply. I tried that and it feels like there is some minor binding but no lurching. I also lifted the front end and the each wheel spins independently so that's good. While driving at lower speeds there is a whining sound that is in sync with when I accelerate. And my steering...

    I greased the caliper bolts ??

    I'm just worried they might come out of the caliper. I only greased the smooth part of the bolt not the threaded end that screws into the caliper.
