So here is one I have the dealership trying to figure out for me, maybe someone has idea. 2020 Limited Max. So when I am in heavy stop and go traffic I get a bad vibration from the rear. Its not present when brakes are cold. I thought it was a warped rotor in the front originally, changed pads...
I have my Expy in the shop for several extended warranty things and the 2024 Explorer I have is doing this? Such a pain to accelerate threw it or push the button to release. Is there a setting to turn off?
Did I read that right. You get new tires every 20,00 miles? Sounds like you are on top of the other maintenance. Plugs, brake fluid recommendation change?
To the original question. I bet its the battery. To the rest of you who every start up hit the auto stop button. The autostop eliminator is a must have and it is very easy to install. And look its on sale...
You can get a adaptor for your CD player headphone jack that goes to USB and then power source plug to backside console usb. It works but is somewhat cumbersome. I use that setup once in a while if I want to pull a CD I haven't heard in a long time.
They need to do the TSB for slipping. Mine only got worse and started falling out of gear more often. It can be dangerous tell them. Mine slipped out on the highway passing someone and left me to coast with traffic around me until I could get back over to the right lanes. They replaced CDF drum...
I purchased the Red Rock half safe from americatrucks.com. The F-150 safe does fit into 2020 Expy. Some feedback on those contemplating a safe

Positives...

Mine was doing the same and the dealership did a refresh, update of system. Did they say they tried that first before the replacement of the whole thing?
Do you have to remove both plates to do an oil change? The website says it’s only two screws to change out the filter but what about to get to the oil plug?
First of all, I love my running boards. I drove a new EXPY with fixed ones and although they are low maintenance I like how the power ones come down a little further, and they are cool! Unfortunately cool wears off when it seems like after going down any muddy, dusty dirt road for extended time...
I had to take mine in for rear end whine. They had to serve the rear differential . I can you you the more technical work when I get home to and pull paperwork
So update on my slipping Transmission
I just got my EXPY back and the paperwork shows they did a TSB 22-2250, not a 22-2120 as I thought they would do since it described my symptoms better. Either way it seems like it was very complicated repair. We will see if that fixes the issue. It took 4...
