2012 gas smell and drop in economy.
Getting a yummy, not good though, fuel smell when I start the 2012 5.4l Triton up. Going to replace spark plugs as a precaution and hope that does it. Also dropped in mpg from around 14 in the city to barely 11. Just hit 203,940 and didn’t see the last time plugs were changed on the carfax so...- GDIMammothTank

Got home with an engine code. 2012 Expy
Another happy return home. 5.4l Triton with 197,000 miles has P0365 and P0369. Rough idle, wants to die. Sounds fine and has plenty of power when driving just sounds like cam phasers and death at idle until it actually dies. Procharging the 5.4
Anyone have any experience on procharging their Expy? I see a couple kits that are pretty pricey but I mean it would be a looooootttttt of fun. I am thinking new cams and the pro charger with a tuner should all be good? Having a hard time finding anything on Expeditions.- GDIMammothTank

Low idle 2012 Expedition 5.4L
No codes yet. Recently had entire passenger side head rebuilt and new VCT solenoid on passenger side replaced. 520-530rpm in gear. 570-620rpm in park and pretty rough.- GDIMammothTank

P0015 on 2012 Expy with 5.4 Triton
I got a P0015 on my 2012 Expy 5.4L today. Idling really rough but revvs up on it's own and is smooth. Hoping it's something with the fuel and not directly engine related. Random miss on cylinder 3.
Just bought my King Ranch Expy and it has a miss on cylinder 3 the day after I got it home from the dealer. It has 192,*** miles. They claim that in the time the dealer owned the vehicle, they did all 8 plugs, the fuel injector on 3 and a coil pack on 3. The tech is requesting to pull the valve...- GDIMammothTank
