anyone paint body molding/body trim??

Has anyone painted ther body molding/trim on their expedition? I want to know if i should sand it down before spraying it... and who used the krylon plastic spray paint... that seems to be what alot of ppl went with to paint it.

mine r painted....i got truck painted and went right over them.....wish i had took off cause there not screwed in...thouight they were untill i seen as door hit....

the ones that r on 2001 expeditions r nicer cause that silver isnt in the center of them./.....99 and older have that awful silver that goes bad.....newer models were solid color same as body.....
"paint them"....looks sharper and makes sides look wider....the silver kinda divides the truck ....:D
