I recently found a hole in my a/c dryer from wiring harness rubbing on it for 220,000 + miles, my questions are

1: how to remove the dryer.

2: when I remove the dryer do I have to add oil to the new unit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most fittings are threaded or a bolt on manifold. No need to add oil unless it blew the oil all over the place once the hole opened up.
The proper method would be to replace the drier, charge the system then recover it noting how much oil came out with the refrigerant. Then recharge to proper specs for oil and refrigerant.
