05 Expedition with F150 wheels

After searching for different (bigger) wheels and tires I landed on a decent idea that wouldn't break the bank. Used wheels off of a 2008 F150 Lariat. Got them in Charlotte, NC, and tires were included.

Nice! I put a set of 20" King Ranch Wheels from a 2010 F150 on my 05.

I'm curious - how does it ride with the lower profile tires compared to stock?
I'm considering larger wheels for the look, but am hesitant to sacrifice the smooth comfortable ride i get with the 17" wheels and michelin latitudes.

I put 20" F150 King Ranch wheels on my 05 Expedition. The ride was stiffer than the 17" wheels and 70 series tires but it was more responsive when you turned the wheel it turned and it handle the curves better. With the old wheels I always felt like I turned the wheel and then the truck turned a second later if that makes sense.

@cericks Only difference I notice with these wheels is really in turns. But, I'm not one to take turns real hard so its negligible.

As I mentioned before, new tires were headed my way. Got Falken Wildpeak AT3W's installed and front end aligned. Tire size: 275/60R20

Also, installed a 2.5" SDT level for an F150 I found on Amazon for $55.











Worth noting, headlights and fogs are tilted all the way down now and still high.

I had the 275 60R20s on my 05 Expedition. The new one has 275 55R20.
