Not a bad job at all when in doubt take pics along the way incase you dont remember vac. Hose routings or where components went. Yes replace spark plugs and replace both rear coil packs since its easier access unless they been replaced before. Also check the condition of the rear vacuum hose from the intake to the pcv valve.

it isnt no ford escape intake but its pretty easy with right tools.

do you have the plactic intake originally?
