Today my Expedition suddenly began to loose power while on the freeway. It never died. When I lowered speed, I was able to continue driving, if I attempted to accelerate, speed would decrease again. I continued to drive at lower speeds. It got me to work. The only light that came on was battery light. It flashed on for a second. No guages or dials went haywire. It felt like alternator going out except no loss of electrical power.
Please help

Besides what bedrck suggested, have the battery/ alternator checked. These vehicles need a fully functioning charging system to run proper. Another possibility is one or more of your catalytic convertors is plugging up on you. You'll need a shop to check that end, unless your equipped. Keep us posted as to your progress.
