2003 XLT 4x4 high and 4x4 low light flashing

hi. Driving down the road and my 4x4 high and 4x4low light flash 3 times
When I stopped I tried to engage A4wd 4H and 4L and none will engage
No previous issues, just got very cold here in Cleveland Oh the past few days.
Both front hubs replaced less than 10K ago and the 4x4 worked since.
Does the number of flashes dictate a code???
Edit: i did check the 30a fuse #115 which is for 4x4 module tcase shift motor

Being that is has been 5* here with no let up in sight I brought it to a trusted mechanic. It was a broken wire from the passengers side kick panel fuse box to the switch or relay (whatever) in the B pillar
