Loaned my son my expedition and when I got it back I was afraid I wouldn't have enough gas in the tank to make it to a gas station. When it only held 10 gallons I noticed nothing else was working gauge wise either. Check appropriate fuses and they ohm'd out o.k. Any thoughts?

Turn the ign switch to on and see if the cluster gauges perform the self test by sweeping to max and returning to the start point.

You can try smacking the dash - don't hit it so hard that it breaks anything. If that doesn't work check the grounds behind the front kick panels.

You disconnect the battery then turn on the headlight to totally drain the capacitors then reconnect after an hour.
