Last week we took a road trip with the whole family. As this is a
rare event 'cause the kids are all grown up with their own cars
and independence, I never had to mess with the balance/fade
button once I set it. So, that day, my wife sets the fade to the rear
and balance to remain equal, left/right. Now, it is fixed to that position.
No matter how many times I hit the button, I can't get the sound to come back to the front. The balance won't change either, although I'm happy
to keep it where it is. I'm thinking, could it just be the button/switch?
Before I have to rip this thing out, I was wondering if anyone has had this issue, or an idea of what it might be or whether there is a TSB on it.
I thought of maybe dissconnecting the battery or fuse, kinda doing a
"hard boot" on it.
