2012 OEM TBC Trailer Brake Controller

I recently purchased a 2014 Trailer brake controller used to install in my 2012 expy.

The 2012 has a 6 pin connector next to the ODB2 port used for attaching an aftermarket controller.

The 14 pin connector to attach the factory OEM above the console, below the cig lighter is no where to be found. I have the connector from another 2014 expy being shipped to me now. Color code wise, between the 6 pin connector and the ODB2.. it seems I can find all necessary wiring to splice in the 14 pin connector.

Has anyone else ran into this missing connector issue? Vehicle came with tow package, has 7 pin and 4 pin trailer plugs, from the factory. But no 14pin connector To the TBC that I can find, just a 6pin for aftermarket.

Hello sr where did you find that oem brake controller I have the 2011 ford expedition with the tow package but I am wanting to add the oem brake controller piece in my dash

Mine came off of a 2014 expy that was wrecked with parts for sale on ebay. Junk yard, etc would be a place to look. If I can get this working, I'll do a writeup with part #s. My concern is finding the correct wiring harness connector (or splice), and reprogramming the computer to enable.
