22ich rims. Do i need to reprogram comp

I just bought my 04 expedition and recently spent 5grand on a 15inch flip down monitor, the pioneer avic z1, the infinity 10inch double sided bass box with built in amps, pioneer speakers replacing stock speakers, front dinali grill. now all im missing is a set of shoes. Im looking to add 22inch rims but before i do this do i need to reprogram the computer? i was told in oder for the truck to run right i need to do this. can someone help me with this question?

If the outside diameter of the tires is different from the factory tires, then yes.

A programmer is the easiest way, and you'll get a little bump in power and improved driveability as well.
