I want to do a modest lift (keep my stock rims and upgrade to a little larger tire than my current 265/70r17). Are bump stops needed, like on a Jeep?

I want it to still look factory built to an in-trained eye.

I'm thinkin a 4" lift (I don't want to change hardly any factory geometry or lines)? I understand gear ratio could change due to a bigger tire.

Is welding required?

What lifts are recommended (Rancho, Fabtech)?

Any other input is appreciated...

Thanks

Check out Supreme Suspension.

Get their rear coil spacers and crank your existing torsion bar keys up. You should also get new shocks. My shocks after the spacers were almost fully extended while at normal ride height. And get an alignment.

Mine looks pretty stock:

Other lifts are an option, but their cost is prohibitive.
