The drivers side track broke on my sunroof so the rear corner won’t close completely. I’m not going to repair it until the weather gets nicer which is several months away.
What is the best options for sealing it that won’t be a huge hassle to clean off come spring. I’m thinking either clear silicon or that metal tape used on dryer ducting. Just don’t want to create a difficult mess to clean up.
Thanks

Proper repair not an option right now and I need to park the Expy outside for a couple weeks. Frozen and not frozen water keeps falling from the sky here.

Ristin,

When this happened on one of my cars, I used gaff tape (audio engineers use it at concerts and guitar center or other music stores sell it) to tape off the sunroof seal. It doesn’t leave a residue as long as you don’t leave it on for the summer lol. It works. Try it.
