I have a pair of brand new front brake pads I bought for my 2003 XLT Expedition that I no longer have, and my buddy has a 1999 XLT Expedition will the pads I have fit his truck?

Just look up the part numbers on RockAuto.

Look at the part numbers of the pads you have and see if his expy takes the same part numbers

Looked at rock autos site. Keyed up both years, different part numbers. Have to say different calipers between the years, so no as to swapping. Only way to know for sure is rack the 99 and pull a side and compare.
