Cargo Shelf for 2011 EL - worth it ?

Hi - new owner of a stripped down 2011 Expedition EL 4WD with tow package and third row seat. Also has 18's which I thought was an option but not on sticker I found online(truck has about 15,000 miles). That's all it has on it but really like the truck so far. Question - it has the spot in the back for a cargo tray or was thinking maybe it was for covering the cargo area so people can't see what you have back there (past explorer had this). Anyway - dealer wants almost $500 for that part..not going to buy it for that but wondering if anyone has it and if its useful..might search for one on ebay etc.

So are you saying it didnt come with the cargo tray thing like in the photos ?

By the way you can order the tray from Tasca for around $250 +/- ( depending on color )

the pieces that hold it up on the sides, if your doesn't have them, you can not get them separate from the whole panel from ford.

thanks Matt..just didn't know it pivoted up and fit right in there. Just ran out into the garage and tried it - Pretty cool. Bought it used so never got the "intro" on features. Thanks again (and for taking the time to take/post the pictures)
