Is there any way to remove white small pits off chrome rims? They don't look too bad but you can still see tiny dots. I am using 0000 steel wool and some turtle wax polish but just cant seem to clear it up. Thanks for any info!

the first picture shows the white spots. The second was before the cleaning.

What type of polish are you using?is it for metal?

You need to be using metal polish I have gotten great results with mothers mag and aluminum polish and billet polish for all my metals..

If that still doesn't remove the water spots use a very thin sand paper like 2000 just enough to remove those water spots then hit it with the polish and that will most definitely get that shine back

I'd recommend Chemical Guys Metal Wax Polish and Protection,
and then Poorboys wheel sealant.

Ok so I found a cool vid of using tin foil. I gave it a try and I must say it kicks butt! With polish it looks 100 times better.
