Hello. I have a 2015 expedition XLT. Whenever the car is not moving I get a strong smell of exhaust in the cabin. It Seems to be coming through the A/C vent in that if I turn off outside air this doesn't occur.

Has anyone encountered this or know if it's a known issue?

Thanks!

Rob

Most likely an exhaust leak under the hood somewhere. The Kenworth I drive at work did the same thing. With a diesel, it's easy to look for soot to find a leak. Mine was an exhaust manifold gasket. Better get it to a shop before someone really gets gassed. Exhaust in the cab is serious.

Sounds like an Exaust leak, or maybe a catalytic converter acting up. Do you hear any Exaust sound leaking around vehicle. Sometimes sounds like a ticking sound.
