Has anyone here tuned there 2015+ Expedition Ecoboost? I just ordered the Livernois 93 Performance tune which gives +80rwhp and +80lbs torque at the wheels. I have the tuner in hand, just waiting for my tunes to arrive in my email.

Sure have. I have 3 different tunes from 5-Star: 87 Performance Tow, 87 Performance, and 93 Performance.
Basically run the 93 tune since I bought my truck.
Worth every penny IMO.

Curious what kind of gains you got from your 5 Star tuning? I'm thinking about getting one of their SCT tuners for my 17. I only run 93 octane so the two other tunes I'll probably never use.

Also I see you got a tow tune but I don't see any "tow" options on 5 stars website. Only economy and performance tunes. I do a lot of towing so that's why I ask

I can only go off their dynocharts, which shows their F-150 4x4 with 3.73s making 250hp and 300 ft-lbs stock. Their 93 performance tune shows 320hp and 450 ft-lbs peak. All figures at the wheels. But the real win is that the tuned one doesn’t drop below 300 ft-lbs until 5300 rpm.

It sure feels like the numbers are spot-on. My truck feels like a hot rod compared to my wife’s stock Platinum even with 35s.
I don’t remember where I found the tow tune, but it was there when I ordered my tunes. I didn’t think twice about it because I had the same tunes on my F-150 except my 93 tune was their ‘Race’ tune.

That's quite a jump especially on the torque. That would make towing a whole lot nicer. I'll get with 5 Star about the tow tune

Thanks for the help

Are you sure about the 250hp? My 2017 XLT makes 365hp off the factory floor.

They are talking at the wheel not the crank. Massive power is lost through the transmission, driveshaft, differential, CV axles by the time you get it to the wheel.

I got curious. The following graph is directly from the 5Star website http://5startuning.com/got-2017-f150-3-5l-v6-ecoboost/and shows a 2017 3.5L EB F-150 dyno "@ Wheel SAE J1349" (I admit, I have no idea what that is; I'm assuming its a standard test procedure for power testing "at the wheels"). stk-87-vs-93-perf-V3.jpg

A quick review of of chart shows an unmodified 3.5L EB pushes in the neighborhood of 325-330hp (peak power) at the wheel.

The 2017 has the advantage of improved output (375hp and 470 ft-lbs) and the 10-speed. Not to mention it doesn’t state whether it’s a 4WD or not. I’m guessing not with that output.

This is a 2014 with 4WD and the EB. It’s also most directly comparable to the 15-17 EB. It’s a 31% powertrain loss, which isn’t abnormal.
A 375-hp engine losing less than 20% drivetrain (like the 2017 chart) is pretty remarkable. That 10-speed must be amazingly efficient, and/or the 375 is a bit of a lie.
