Hello!
This is the second Ford Expedition I have owned. It is a 2005 Eddie Bauer with 253,000 miles. The engine was rebuilt by a Ford dealership 86,000 miles ago. I purchased the vehicle via Craigslist for $2500. It seems mechanically sound, but has typical Michigan rust which has completely destroyed the rocker panels. I purchased "Slip on" rockers which I plan to weld on. Ironic right?
The first Expedition I ever owned was a 1998 XLT. I have been a Ford guy since 1985 with the purchase of my first new vehicle which was a Ford Ranger. In between the Ranger and the Expy's I have owned 3 Broncos, a 1973, a 1990, and a 1993.
I hope to learn from the rest of the group how to fix the 2005 up and learn from your experiences.
Thanks for having me.
Eddie
