Hi everyone! I don't have an Expy yet, just keeping an eye here as I plan my next vehicle purchase in early 2019. I currently drive a Jeep Grand Cherokee ecodiesel, which I love, but I want to start pulling a travel trailer and the payload capacity is marginal. I didn't understand that payload capacity is the important spec, not tow rating.
I pretty much ruled out GM's large SUVs due to lack of turbo. I live at 7000 feet and naturally aspirated engines lose 25% of their horsepower at this altitude. So EcoBoost is for me! I really like the redesigned Expedition and Navigator, which is great because before they came out I was considering a Benz GLS 450 (holds nose).
Anyway looks like a great community you all got here. I hope I can end up contributing something as well.
