HELP !! Transmission slipping into neutral in 3rd gear

Hello, My name is Joe and I am new to the site.
My tranny won't shift above 40mph and seems to go into neutral.
Everything else works fine- 1st,2nd,reverse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The tranny fluid is fine and clean.
I have over 200k miles but tranny was rebuilt at 105k miles.

Sounds like your direct clutch pack is having problems. Probably going to be a full rebuild. You could try pulling the pan and valvebody off and see if there is an issue with the 2-3 accumulator but it may be too late. Btw don't do this unless you are ok with not being able to drive it until it's fixed. If you aren't comfortable working on the transmission I would just bring it to a shop so you don't have to tow it over.
