I was giving the 07 EL EB a good cleaning today and I sure wish Ford didn't put so much texture in all of the door panels. I guess the idea was to make it look like something other than plastic (leather? stone? dry skin?) It seems the textured surface really holds the dust and dirt from the jobsites, particularly on the doors. No easy wipe, but a good scrubbing. The designers should try cleaning one after a day on the dusty jobsite!

I know my 2002 was nice and smooth inside and much easier to wipe clean.

Thanks for listening (reading) the rant!

I use mr. clean magic erasers, they wear out pretty quickly and leave a chalky residue that you have to wipe off with whatever interior cleaner you normally use, but looks like new with minimal effort
