My 97 Expedition hit 97,000 miles today. Unfortunately, I didn't get a picture of her odometer rolling over. I'm hoping she'll last another 97,000 miles. My 2000 Expedition is just shy of 210,000 miles. 20170717_124734.jpg

The 1st Gens, are still the best looking. I owned one for a decade. Fuel mileage is my only complaint. I blame the A4wd.

Our '97 was handed down to a daughter who used it until she graduated from U of AZ. It then went to Mexico with nearly 190k on it.

As for yours, probably time to change out the break-in oil.

Look at this photo, notice body clearance between front bumper and ground. The distance from top of tire and front fender. Now look at a 2018. Ford has changed/lowered the entire stance of the Expedition. I prefer the original design.

My '98 is about to roll over 99k. I bought it 2 years ago with 72k miles, I'm the 2nd owner. Previous guy was a Vietnam Vet that passed and he didn't drive it much. Unfortunately the underside rust is getting a bit bad. :(
