key transponder question

I got a transponder from junk yard to hopefully replace the button in my working/programmed one they are the same so i am sure it will fit BUT

My question if i swap the button pad out is it going reset the thing ? being the battery will not be in. i am thinking if i do it fast enough it will be ok ????? iv looked on here and can't find no info about it please help

No bro you'll be fine, try not to break the battery holder clips but in reality I don't think you even need to take off the battery. Just pop open and swaparo!
