Thank you! It's not so much ford tough as it is 'Ford always-having-to-fix-SOMETHING-yet-my-Ex's-2002-F150-has-been-nearly-flawless-for-10-years'. I regret the purchase, frankly. Should have probably gone Nissan.
Wow you know your aren't the first person that mentioned they don't like their 03, because of mechanical issues etc. But everyone I know that has had or has a 97-02 f150/expedition including myself usually never has anything bad to say about their rig, I love mine, and I like that it has a solid rear axle like a traditional truck.

Honestly, except for what I think are better looks, the newer Expy's are worse in terms of 'built ford tough'. I can't see any advantage to the 3V vs my Ex's 2V - most of the time the 2V feels like the stronger engine.
