Light Sensor Amplifier

Does anybody know how to test the light sensor amplifier...and actually the light sensor itself also, on my 99 EB ? I'm still trying to get my auto headlight feature to work, and I have narrowed down the issue to those 2 things, but I can't figure out how to test them.. Apparently neither are made anymore, so I just can't put in new ones.

Um..yeah....been doing that, but they don't work. So I need to know exactly how to test those sensors with a DVMM.
