Low volume Power-Sub

will ask this here just to see, even though it may be car specific......

Have 2016 Expy XLT, with Base 4.3" radio.

• connected a 2 channel LOC to the front l\r speaker wires.
• running RCAs to an Alpine powered sub.
• when i connect both RCAs (l\r) channels, the volume on the sub gets really low.
• if i disconnect one channel or turn the gain down on one LOC channel the volume is fine.
• I am using posi-taps to tap the speaker wire from the radio
• have rechecked the connections.
• Ground seems good, as the sub does not cut off.

any ideas?

Sounds like you have the polarity wrong on one of the channels.
