Is there any write up on here about swapping a manual trans into auto expy ?
Was wondering what all parts needed ?
Whats involved with clutch pedal and brake pedal to work? Will it just swap in ?
i know when i did a trans swap auto to manual on my 88 Ranger, clutch pedal and brake pedal i just had to swap the ones from the donor 5 speed ranger 'same year" in there there was no cutting,drilling or making any brackets.as for the hydraulic clutch system it went in easy also cause there was already spot there for it to got threw firewall and bolt to from factory used my stock trans mount,transfer case and drive shaft .i made my own shifter plate that bolts to floor board but could have used the auto one
i would think cutting hole in the floor and console for the shifter and maybe making shifter longer is probable the most of the fabrication
