This is going to be my new setup soon. My expy doesn't have a cd changer so I'm mounting the black box in the console and I'm mounting the remote in the little storage area below the climate controls. Once that is squared away I'm going to mount a gps where the stock stereo was. I'll post pics as I make progress. Let me know what you think of my idea.

I've got the stereo box wires all extended and ready to go in the truck on friday. I'm basically making a jumper harness from the box in the console to the factory plug, and I'm mounting the remote under the climate controls on top of the little storage area on the center console.

Here is where I'm at so far. I don't have a picture of the box in the console, but I have everything else I've done so far. I haven't mounted the remote yet because I'm having trouble getting a display on it. Hopefully I'll have it worked out soon.

Well it looks like this mod is on hold for now as the remote for whatever reason has decided to not function properly. the functions all work the display just doesn't function and I'm not in a position to purchase another one right now. pretty disappointed.....

It would be had I got it new but it was kind of a freebie through the place I work at. We tested it there and it worked fine.
