New Tires

I am going to upgrade the tires on my 2008 Expedition 4x4 with something a bit bigger. Right now, I have 255/70/18 on the vehicle. I'd like to go bigger and more aggressive without a lift kit. I was told I could get 33s on it, but the metric conversion confuses me. Bottom line, I'd like to go wider and bigger, but I recognize the 18 inch wheels could cause some issues. I was told by Tire Discounters that I could go with A 275/70/18. Does this sound accurate? Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks!!!

That size is about a 33.1 inch tire, IMHO, too big without a lift. They'll probably fit, but you will more than likely experience some rubbing issues. If it were me, I'd stick closer to the 275/65/18 or 32.1 inch. Welcome!
