Hello all!
I recently became the proud owner of a '17 Expedition Limited with the sync3, and have been unable to find the aux audio input jack.

Ford says it should be there (see attached screenshot), but I really can't find the thing!
It's not in the center console next to the USB ports, there is no flip panel below the climate controls, and there's no obvious indication around the rear ac controls...

On the '16 it's in the console. Maybe they removed it in '17?

Interestingly, Ford has the below photo posted on their website and claims it is of a '17.

My 2016 only has the two USB ports and the 12V under the center console. I would have preferred the SD card for my music library, freeing up the USBs for other devices.

I think it depends on what options you get. I had a 17 as a rental a few weeks ago and it had the two USB ports and 3.5 mm. This was a xlt but did have navigation.

So it looks like the 3.5mm port and the SD slot were added for 2017. About the only option I don't have is the rear video system.
