My 2007 EL has an issue. At certain speeds the transmission gets confused about what gear it needs to be in and rapidly dithers between two gears. You can feel the shifting back and forth. It works fine otherwise but is probably wearing out my tranny at a rapid pace.
Speeding up seems to get it out of its confused state. Also, turning off the overdrive seems to prevent it.
What could cause this?
