Remove Rear Quarter Glass

To remove the rear quarter glass (07 exp). Do you just remove the window frame nuts and pry the frame away from the body? I would prefer not to break the glass in the process.

The video erroneously says the window is installed with "silicone". I believe a urethane adhesive like 3M 08693 must be used. Check a shop manual. It would cover the materials needed.

There are also tricks to cutting out the adhesive, like using a piece of piano wire to part the glass from the frame. The video's method of prying against the glass with a metal tool appears barbaric.
