Removing the front grill

I'm haaving trouble removing the front grills lower holds. Could you give me any ideas to help. thanks

Are you talking about the plastic pins that hold the lower part?

yes, there are flat slots on the grill and flat plastic hooks pushed through, looks like I'll break those if I bend them too much.

Are you talking about just removing the chrome part? When I put the inserts in mine I had to pull the whole front end off.

yes just the chrome grill. replacing with aftermarket grill.

I just put the inserts in. I didn't take the chrome part off. Maybe someone else will come in and help.

I wouldn't happen to be the same clips like on the 2nd gens, is it?

The service manual states you have to removed the whole front piece, but you can take the tabs off if you stick your hand and feel around.

If not, can you take a picture of the pins?

Anyone knows how to remove Grill on 2011 expo?? I am having trouble with bottom grill clips.
