Who knows maybe they caught on to the spring thing and just planned to clean and spit polish some stuff and sell your own engine right back to you

Borderline illiterate and entirely untrained ex-cons, junkies, and middle school dropouts...grimy shirts or coveralls with oval name tags that tell you this is one here goes by "Joey" do NOT a mechanic make...

Most dealer service departments and regular shops for that matter do not have "mechanics" working for them. They are simply "parts replacers". Sure, it would have fixed your problem, but they just do not have the knowhow to actually repair anything.
