So I looked at the manual I got online and it shows the rear suspension with springs. Shows the spring insulator assembly. My question is I currently have a 3.55 limited slip differential in the wrecked Expy. The body I'm looking at has a 3.31 open differential (I think based on the door panel). I know the shocks used between air ride and spring are different (not sure how different) but they are a part number different for the ones I got. My question is, is the mounting point on the axle itself the same between an air ride axle and spring axel so that everything should work so long as I have the insulator on the top? Has anyone done this or have enough experience with the two types of suspension set ups. I'm fine keeping the springs (rather not deal with the air ride anymore).
