Have a 2012 King Ranch, 109,000 miles. Love it, But, wife tells me that after slamming on brakes to keep from hitting a bonehead who had u-turned in front of her, she hit the gas and the tranny ******, and sounded like it was slipping. Calls me, and I drive it home with no problems. Anyone experienced this tranny weirdness?

too many unknown variables here to tell you.
So: pavement dry or wet? How fast.
did she come to a complete stop, and/or a evasive maneuver? Was there unrestrained cargo onboard?
was it a downshift from O/D to another gear, then catching up she experienced? Did she perhaps manually shift and/or combo both pedals?

Sure others will chime in?

Last, if you say you "drove home with no problems" and it hasn't done it again, sounds like the EXPY did what it was supposed to do and glad she if ok.

Thanks.

Start with the simple stuff...
Is the transmission fluid at the correct level?
