I have very little air flow on my 2001 eddie bauer expedition.
I can hear the blower running fine ,but I have almost no air flow .
I have read were the blend door will break and completely cover the vents .
Thought i should check those who know before taking the dash apart to check this .
Thank you
bill

Before removing the dash you may want to check the defrost setting for airflow. After that pull the blower motor and inspect the squirrel cage fan. Make sure it isn't spinning freely on the motor shaft.

I have no air coming through defrost either.
Blower sounds like it is blowing ,not just spinning ,but I will check that first .
Thank you

Only way is to take it apart and examine it and clean the evaporator as well.
That's pretty much what I thought .
I will pull the squirrel cage and check that first .Then order a new door so I have it here when I pull the dash .
Wish me luck

What I found so far is that I personally cannot pull the squirrel cage without pulling the dash.
My joints just do not twist like they used to .
I am going to order a blend door off fleabay before pulling the dash.
Under $20.00 so if I am wrong I am not going to break the bank .
Although a pain it should still be easier than the one in my E150 was .
