Hi

While rummaging around under my 99 Expedition running along the left side I noticed a series of steel small pipes/wires.

I wasn't able to trace their destination.

Any idea what they are and since they look pretty rusted is it possible to replace them?

Thanks

Alex

Fuel line should be stainless. Larger rusted line, maybe evap or rear heat/coolant. Smaller may be a Parking brake cable(broken) or a hack brake line repair. Brake line and fuel should be mounted inside frame rail. Hard to tell from photos. Post if you find out, good luck.

The two rusted 3/8 lines were brake lines. one was operational and one it's a leftover after being replaced by the first one. It would have been cleaner if the previous mechanic had ripped out the older unused line. The larger line I am still tracing it disappears somewhere above the fuel tank.
