The P0500 DTC is listed as a GEM code by FORScan. Vehicle Speed Sensor circuit.

Ben Your 2003 expy doesn't have a GEM Module However it does have a Vehicular Security Module and also the fuse box is also called a Smart Junction Box.

You would be best to start a new thread explaining your problems and also the year of your Expedition along with engine size

Is there any way to get a pinout of the GEM for a 2002?

I have a 99 Expedition (her name is Diamond) and she's gone wonky. Does she have a GEM or a VSM? I'm 99.99% positive it's from the heavy rains we've had and a windshield leak. Windshield has needed replaced for awhile, so doing that tomorrow, but need to make sure I get the right part as far as GEM or VSM. Thanks for your input!
