Where do I get these two types of trim clips?

Hi

I had to replace my driver side car control switch and as a result I had to take out three trim clips.

All three broke and I'm looking to replace them. I contacted the dealer and they don't have the clips available. I also don't have access to any scrap vehicles from which to pull them off of.

Does anyone know of another source?

Thanks

Broke few when I had to remove the trim and headliner. Found several different types at Lowes, but black will be the only option there.

Try looking for Dorman part #030-709. Its a 60 piece variety pack that should last you a few years. About $28 on Amazon, Summit, Autozone and ebay. Super handy to have.

You have a few options I used to be a glazier in a former life. They both are obviously junk, the black is the rivet style and not reusable. I would get three of the tan one. The rivet style would be more difficult as they are so many of them and you'll need the rivet gun. You did use a panel (trim) tool right?

These are your cheapest options.
  1. Junk yard (usually free)
  2. Auto Glass Shop
  3. Body Shop
  4. Upholstery shop
You'll have to buy in bulk of 50 if they will sell them directly to you, If not they sell them on Amazon as well.
This is the manufacturer on the clips & fasteners in the industry. They have 250 plus page catalog. I can't believe I remember this info.
Here are what you can use and buy from Amazon.
